So…my name is Stephanie, not Eden ;)

Eden Grey is just the name for my company. It was inspired by my first trip to Australia. It never occurred to me that people would think that was my name. Plus, I'm just not that cool!

I'm a major animal lover. We have two boxers. We had a full wolf pack up until two years ago when our older two boxers, Hans and Bear passed away. Now it's just Eva & Brixxton. I'm hoping to rescue another couple of babies soon, just trying to give the two younger babies their time together.

I *LOVE* traveling. I'm a foodie, but also love the way I feel when I'm carrying on a healthy lifestyle, but at the moment food is winning. I love beer. Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. (I didn't come up with that).

Favorite places & things: Anthropologie (duh), coffee, anything sparkly, making people smile, laughing and making myself laugh (only child thing).

I'm not as interested in how he/she proposed as I am what your favorite things to do together are. I want to dig a little deeper and be able to really pull out your personalities in your pictures. I want you to see the images and say 'Wow-she totally gets us'.

So let's do this.

{Beloved} A Session in the Country ~ Livingston, Tx Engagement Photographer

Ok. You ready? **Stretches and pops fingers** There’s a LOT to say about this couple. It’s gonna be one of those posts. Hopefully, some of you read this.

I saw her in the ER when I started back in 2004. She’s extremely beautiful. Her big brown eyes, long eyelashes and shiny brown hair make up only half of this girl. You tend to be intimidated by beautiful people, but she immediatley gives you that HUGE smile. A genuine one. That’s when you realize she is not only gorgeous, but one of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet. You hope nothing but the best in life for her. You hope she has someone that treats her well, because she doesn’t deserve anything less.

After having the less, she found him. Well, actually, she knew him. They hung out in the same social crowd at get togethers and happy hour. Just friends. She moved to Austin for some time but eventually had a change of heart. And that’s when it happened.

He got a phone call one day. One that would change his life. I asked Cooper what the best memory he has of Stephanie so far. He said, “It was the day that she called me to tell me that she was moving back to Houston….and that we could be together.”

All together now….”Awwwww!!!”

Being in the presence of true love is so humbling. It makes you feel like anything is possible; like the impossible can happen. Oh yeah, it did. A Red Raider fell in love with an Aggie. I know. I KNOW. Crazy right? Anyway…back to the love story.

When I see the way that Cooper looks at Stephanie, and the way he speaks to her, it makes my heart swell. He loves her so much. He’d do anything for her. He’d catch a grenade 😉

I see Steph look at Cooper and it calms me. She has every bit of faith, hope and love invested in him. It’s written all over her face. I have no doubt in my mind that they will be together forever.

To the Lumsden family….thank you so much for welcoming me into your lovely home and for your hospitality. It’s not every day that people get to see me in a towel at the dinner table, but I just HAD to get that water shot! I had such a nice evening with you all.

Coop & Steph~ I simply cannot wait to be a part of such a wonderful couple’s wedding. You two are wonderful.
