Meredith & Brian chose the setting of Brian’s family ranch in Round Top, Texas for their engagement session. I’ve never made the drive to Round Top and wasn’t expecting such a gorgeous drive. It took no time at all and the surrounding countryside was so peaceful.
We weren’t sure how the weather would hold up, since Texas weather can be a bit temperamental. We decided to go for it and it turned out to be a pretty and pleasant day. The session was full of adventure, riding around on the ranch mule (not an animal, btw), finding crawfish in the fields where we were shooting and even getting Brian’s dad’s gorgeous McCormick tractor out for a few fun shots.
Afterward, we went into town and enjoyed the evening with some good gourmet pizza, salad and I forget what else from this new restaurant that was opened by Houston’s own Armando’s called Lulu’s. Sooooo good! It was time well spent with two fun and interesting people, getting to know them just a little more each time before the biggest day of their lives. <3
