Katie & Jon chose to take their vows and celebrate their wedding at Sandlewood Manor in Tomball. It’s a stunning venue with southern charm that you don’t often see in the Houston area. Grand decendants of the famous Secretariat race horse graze in the field as you enter the oak lined drive. The manor grandly greets you with a statement.
The weather was not in our favor this day. As a matter of fact, I think this has to be the rainiest wedding I’ve ever captured. It came down with force, a total torrential downpour, but luckily the venue has a covered balcony where we could still get the outdoor feel of the grounds. The weather didn’t bother the happy couple – the outcome would still be the same. Eat. Drink. Be Married. Everyone packed the dance floor where you could feel the buzz of the crowd. When the DJ announced that it was time to line up for the exit, the crowd was not ready to give in! Just the same, everyone sent Katie & Jon off with a bang!
