Here in Houston, along the southeast suburbs are two bordering rivalry cities – Deer Park & La Porte. They’ve been competing for winning titles since the 1940’s. This Deer Park boy won this La Porte girl’s heart and they are doing a thing called getting married next year.
So let’s talk a little about their engagement session. It was originally scheduled for October, but due to work scheduling, we needed to make it work earlier. In August. In Texas. …In 102 degree heat. Can I get a high five for these two that braved those conditions?? Not to mention the 100 steps down and back up – twice – to two different river bottom locations!
Afterward we all went for pizza and sucked down about 3 waters each. We were all looking forward to vegging out on our beds and resting from the long day. I had forgotten how DRY it is out there!
