So…my name is Stephanie, not Eden ;)

Eden Grey is just the name for my company. It was inspired by my first trip to Australia. It never occurred to me that people would think that was my name. Plus, I'm just not that cool!

I'm a major animal lover. We have two boxers. We had a full wolf pack up until two years ago when our older two boxers, Hans and Bear passed away. Now it's just Eva & Brixxton. I'm hoping to rescue another couple of babies soon, just trying to give the two younger babies their time together.

I *LOVE* traveling. I'm a foodie, but also love the way I feel when I'm carrying on a healthy lifestyle, but at the moment food is winning. I love beer. Beer is proof that God loves us and wants us to be happy. (I didn't come up with that).

Favorite places & things: Anthropologie (duh), coffee, anything sparkly, making people smile, laughing and making myself laugh (only child thing).

I'm not as interested in how he/she proposed as I am what your favorite things to do together are. I want to dig a little deeper and be able to really pull out your personalities in your pictures. I want you to see the images and say 'Wow-she totally gets us'.

So let's do this.

St Anthony Cathedral Wedding Photographer – The Event Center Weddings | Susan & Chuck

Contagious.

That is what I first thought of Susan when I spoke with her. She wanted to book over the phone and I’m leery of doing this. I want for couples to make sure they like me first, but she just laughed and said “I already like you!” Her laugh was contagious, as was her east Texas accent (which is dear to my heart).

When Susan laughs, she does so with her whole body and soul. She’s a happy woman in love and it shows. Chuck’s deep voice came over the phone very soft spoken and gentle. I could tell he genuinely wanted whatever she did just so he could see her smile. Two families joined together this July and they are SO fun. The whole wedding party had a surprise dance off that had the crowd turned up and ready to party.

Below is a small account of what happened that hot day in July. The nurse who took a chance on a blind date with one of her patients family members changed her life forever.
