Houston Engagement Photographer | Ouisie’s Table | Emily & Justin

Emily & Justin came to me and when they sat down, they looked at each other with such love that it caught my breath.  We settled a day to take engagement pictures, and they chose the ever so quaint and cozy Ouisie’s Table in Houston.  I walked in fully expecting to get right to work.  Instead, I found these two sitting at a table and telling me to order the bottomless mimosa’s.  Talk about the way to my heart…

We sat across from these two ladies, snickering at this statue of a dog they had sitting with them.  We took inconspicuous pictures with our iPhone’s as we laughed over champagne, orange juice and amazing muffins.  Then the people got up and left–sans the dog.  The waiter explained that the dog, Patience, belonged to the house and often made appearances at guest’s tables, delighting children and adult hearts alike.

We started taking pictures, and then would relax for a few sips of our refreshing drinks 😉 cooling off from the afternoon heat.  During that time, I caught the love bug from them.  To say that I’m looking forward to spending the day with them capturing their wedding is an understatement.

All I can do is smile.
