Planning a wedding in the year 2020 should have been a celebration for every couple. Instead, every couple, wedding photographer and frankly anyone in the industry or market was handed a giant clusterf…well, you know. Now on top of that, imagine that your wedding was the week of the first mandatory lockdown. March 20th, to be exact. That was supposed to be a brilliant day for Kristina and Albert.
But wait, there’s more. Imagine being a major dog lover and having your best fur friend unexpectedly pass away days before the wedding. Then, being called literally the day before the wedding and being told, ‘I’m so very sorry, but the fire marshal is going to venues shutting them down, we can’t marry you tomorrow.’ As you can imagine, this was more than devastating to Kristina & Albert. They unbelievably handled it with grace and a lot of tears. The *only* silver lining is that their original wedding date literally poured down rain all day long.
This made their new day so much sweeter. It all came together perfectly with only a light shower just a half hour before the ceremony. The only thing that could have made it more complete would have been to have their sweet Max. The family, the friends and the emotions were all there. Chardonnay and Dos XX were their drink of choice and the wedding party made sure their hands were never empty. To put the icing on the cake, I was just texted by Kristina this evening that they have finally found it in their hearts to make a new addition to their newly established family.
Welcome, Shiner. You and your parents have a great life ahead of you.
Aren’t her white toes adorable??
