When I look back on all of the weddings that I’ve photographed in Houston, there is one single wedding that sticks out as the perfect day. This past October, I arrived at Balmorhea to capture Brooke and James’ wedding day. The guys were outside playing games. It was a sunny day and the weather was crisp and dry. I remember thinking that I wished all of my wedding days could be as perfect as this one.
I met Brooke in my booth at the Bridal Extravaganza. We made a plan to take engagement pictures in Galveston since they live so close. Afterward, we went for drinks and some food. James introduced me to the BEST white pizza I’ve ever had at Murphy’s Irish Pub. James is a little quiet at first, once pictures were over and the beer got to the table, he was an open book! By wedding day they felt like old friends that I just happened to be the wedding photographer at 🙂
