You never know exactly what you’re going to expect with the day ahead when you shoot weddings. What will the wedding party be like? What will the decorations look like? How smooth will the timing go? I had an absolute blast shooting Danielle and Zach’s wedding day. Since they met in Chicago and now live in San Francisco, they had their wedding party from pretty much all over the US. So much fun! Danielle was a shining star on her day. I love seeing my brides and groom’s on the best day of their lives. It is so rewarding. We had plans of shooting the wedding party pictures down in Kemah, but seeing as it was a holiday weekend and the Texans were having some major event, the party bus took us to one of the less busier (but still chaotic) parts of the area and we got some GORGEOUS shots!
The reception was a kicker as well, complete with the Hora, which you can’t help but grin ear to ear at how FUN it looks, to couples of all ages getting down on the dance floor. They even played “Africa” by Toto, to which the wedding party went WILD over…and I loved it–it’s a favorite of mine. The couple was sent off on the docks of Seabrook with sparklers as they exited via boat with their very own personal captain who whisked them away to their hotel. I must give a personal shout to my second shooter, Amber. You are such an asset! Your talent is profound!!!
~Guys, I wish you the very best. I can’t wait to make a sample album out of your wedding to show future brides and grooms!~
