This July I was able to document Adrienne and Chase’s wedding day.  I’ve truly enjoyed getting to know them both as well as Adrienne’s parents.  What special people!

The morning and early afternoon were gorgeous and sunny, but mid ceremony, a torrential downpour hit the city of Houston (typical summer weather) and we had to come up with a backup plan for portraits before the reception.  Everything went smoothly and most importantly, I could tell that the newlyweds were enjoying themselves!

Adrienne is a bit of a crier 😉 so the tears were flowing during speeches, but the dance floor had nothing but smiles and good times.

Chase & Adrienne, I wish you much love and happiness in your marriage.  Cherish each other.

These two GORGEOUS Houstonian’s had a perfect June wedding several weeks ago.  The day was absolutely beautiful and the bride was nothing short of classic, timeless and elegant.  The groom was almost unrecognizable as I went in to visit with him before the ceremony.  Tall, handsome and ready to see the woman he would spend the rest of his life with.

Each event throughout the day and leading into the night topped the previous.  From the first moment she walked through the doors of St. Anne’s Cathedral, the tearful speeches to the first dance, Banana’s Foster presentation all the way to the exit, it was perfect.

To the happy couple, I can’t wait to see what life brings your way.

Now that Catherine and Scott are married, I can finally show off Catherine’s bridal portraits!  I’m so in love with this session.  This day was one that we really lucked out on.  It was early June and was one of those flash flood weather days.  Richmond seemed to be the ONLY area that the rain stopped and the sun barely peeked through for us and the pictures turned out SO GREAT!!

Catherine, you’ve been such a blessing in my life and I love that you put so much thought and effort into your pictures.  Also, you guys!  She MADE her own floral crown and bouquet for this session…I can’t believe how talented she is.  <3

This last one…most won’t like it, but I just gravitate toward it.  There’s no expectation, no pressure, she doesn’t even know I’m taking the shot.  She’s just staring out at the longhorns across the field and I love the simplicity of it. <3

Catherine and Scott were married at Briscoe Manor on a perfect sunny day this May.  Everything about this day was amazing.  Catherine put in soooo much hard work for the tiniest of details to make the day of their wedding special.  She and Scott thought of so many things to share with their guests, including the traditional Baylor Dr. Pepper floats!

Scott looked extremely sharp in his royal blue suit and Catherine was nothing short of stunning .  The day was theirs and after the guests sent them off, they set off to Banff, Alberta for their honeymoon.

You two, I’m so glad that I met you both and I look forward to more dinners together!
