Megan and Lee.
Two people who were brought together by chance as we all are. He thought he would never get married, that he would never find someone he deserved. She says he showed her how to love and be loved. These words were a part of their vows.
I shoot a given number of weddings each year, but when a couple decides to write their own vows, which isn’t often, it gets my attention. And for a moment, even though I have a job to do, even though I’m there as a vendor and not a guest, I stop and listen. I hear the words that come out of their mouths as tears roll down their cheeks and they experience the happiest and most emotional day of their lives. And I smile. Because I get to share this moment. I get to capture it, and preserve it.
Then I take it home, view all the images and put together a story for you all to see. I become emotionally attached and it gets so hard to narrow down the ones I want to show you. I want you to see every detail, special moment, mid laugh and stolen kiss.
I hope you fall in love as I do with these precious moments in time.
