This is the story of two people who had the most perfect wedding day. God blessed this man and woman with wonderful friends and family who all came together to celebrate them vowing to one another their undivided love and devotion.

 I am THE luckiest girl, because they chose ME out of this saturated market where they had their pick of anyone they wanted. Two major things you should know about Shannon and Chris: 1) Shannon’s smile is one that could warm the coldest day. Her eyes light up and her cheeks flush pink. Her soul is pure and beautiful. 2) Chris is probably the most cheerful, happy and goofy groom I’ve ever photographed. During our engagement session, he greeted me with a huge grin. He was fun and playful and not afraid to be a little silly. After meeting his Mom, I see where he gets that BIG grin. Such a breath of fresh air <3. I loved the energy in the room during their beautiful ceremony. 

Their wedding day was seriously perfect. The weather, the sun, the wedding party and families…all amazing!  And the flower girls/ring bearers!  Wait until you see these little girls and boys…so precious!

I would photograph this day again in a heartbeat, but I’m SO glad to finally show you these two who have snuggled right into the core of my heart. Thank you both for giving me so much joy!

This wedding at ZaZa was LIT, y’all!

Steph and Charlie are such an awesome couple. They told me that their friends and family would be closing the night down with partying till the very end, but what these two failed to mention was that pretty much ALL of their friends are performers of some sort!  There were theatre majors, singers, contortionists, dancers, you name it!

So THAT’S why you’ll see a ton of reception shots in this story. There were just too many fun moments!  They were in the air, on the floor and all around. Something Steph failed to mention was that she can SANG!  All of the sudden, she hijacks the mic from the DJ and lays it DOWN.

One of the highlights was watching literally the whole guest list on the floor in full choreography mode acting out to Time Warp from The Rocky Horror Picture Show!  It was a top night!!

Of course the night wouldn’t be complete without all of their foster kitties turned family. They have 5 cats and a few more fosters that they made adorable Popsicle photo props with.
