WHOA.  It feels like FOREVER since I’ve posted…  Well this is the perfect post.  Why you ask?  Because this is probably the longest wedding post I’ve ever posted!  So you could say we’re making up for lost time 😉

Below is a visual documentary of Jasmine and Zach’s wedding day.  These two are adorable.  Every wedding I shoot, I walk away with something a little different that makes me smile to myself.  This one was the youth and innocence of these two.  It was incredibly refreshing.  It’s a very rare thing to see.  I loved watching the bridesmaids surrounding Jasmine singing their favorite pop songs that they all feel they relate to.

I loved hearing each mother talk about the fact that they had prayed for their child’s future companion.  To me–that’s an incredibly thoughtful and intelligent thing to do.  The Lord hears our prayers, indeed.

I’d also like to thank my incredible second shooter, Amber.  I simply don’t know what I’d have done without you.  I’ve included your amazingness (is that a word? …it is now) here in the post.

This little bugger was awake more than any newborn I’ve seen!  He was so curious, looking around and eyeing everything and everyone.  By the time we were done shooting, I’m sure he was relieved to have some peace and quiet time for napping.  He worked hard!  Baby Quentin is a beautiful little baby boy that was about 11 days old when we took these pictures.  He’s Australian American, so I’m sure he’ll have the ladies drooling in no time 😉  But his big sis might fight them off!

Below is an account of our time together…check out those baby blues!

Matt and Amanda are probably two of the most laid back, chill people I’ve ever had the pleasure of meeting.  Before their wedding, or engagement session, they hardly had any photos with each other.  So of course, I had to fix that 😉  They had a split wedding with the ceremony being in May, and the reception in June, after having a whirlwind of a honeymoon in San Fran, Seattle and finally Thailand!!  They came back and were welcomed to a reception with family from out of state and friends, and they spent time visiting, drinking, celebrating, catching up and of course making fools of themselves in the photo booth 😉  Be sure to check out the AH~MAZING detailed flowers on the cupcakes!!  The brides sister mainly did these, along with Amanda.

Before I wrote this post, I asked Matt to say a few words about Amanda.  I asked him to tell me something that he found special in her.  His response is below in the picture.

I hope this gives you a little insight as to what pulls these two together.  Please enjoy the rest of the post.

Kari is a friend that goes back about 10 years.  We’ve got our share of inside jokes and shenanigans that we reminisce about from our college years 😉

She tied the knot with her soul mate this May, and it was an honor for me to photograph this gorgeous day for her.  The thing I love about the wedding day is that I’m always stunned by the bride and how beautiful she looks.  Kari was no exception–she looked absolutely elegant and classic.

Please enjoy this small peek at the moments they shared together on their first day of being husband and wife.
